     COMPATIBLE HELMETS

MONACO

SUPERLIGHT TOURER

The Monaco, either in pure carbon or in pure glass, is very light. In fact, it’s the lightest flip-up helmet on the market. It’s also very compact, even though it sizes up to a real XXL.

When you ride for some time, you’ll notice this. Or rather, you won’t; you’ll barely realise you’re wearing some of the best head and brain protection you can buy.

     TESTIMONIALS

"It is such a pleasure to ride with the Lazer photochromic visor: it adapts quickly to changes in luminosity, so no problem when riding into tunnels."

LOUIS MARAIS, FRANCE

"The Lumino visor is simply fantastic. When riding, one might get the impression that the visor doesn’t darken, but if you just lift it you immediately realize its great effectiveness. Lumino equals fabulous riding comfort!!"

PAOLO MAURO, ITALY

"Excellent, even when riding at night or with bright sunshine straight in your face. No need for sunglasses any more. Stunning!"

FRANS PEETERS, BELGIUM

"As soon as you leave the box on a sunny day, the visor darkens completely and eliminates all glare. This completely rests my eyes and I recover quicker after the practice sessions. Before Lumino, I had to equip for each race three helmets with a different visor. Now, one single visor is enough as it changes automatically with the weather conditions. It gives me perfect vision, always."

Xavier Simeon - Moto2 pilot

What happens when you ride into a tunnel?
Your vision will remain excellent due to the unique way in which the Lumino darkens and lightens. In exceptional cases of passing from bright sunlight into a non-illuminated tunnel, it is recommended to lift the visor.

Is the Lumino compatible with my helmet ?
Lumino fits on all Lazer fibre helmets (Kite, Falcon, Osprey and Kestrel) provided if equipped with the aluminium visor screw; it also fits on the injected modular Paname and the full-face Breva and Vertigo.

UV Protection ?
The Lumino protects against UVA and UVB radiation.

Average time to change from original to the darkest state?
The Lumino darkens to about 50% of its maximum range in about 15 seconds and reaches the maximum range in a further 30 seconds. Going to its lightest state takes about 1 minute. However, viewed from the inside, the Lumino remains an even grey relatively independent on its darkening, providing continuous eye-relief.

Anti-fog Pinlock ready?
The Lumino is not treated with anti-fog. We have preferred the more efficient solution of a Pinlock anti-fog screen, provided with the helmet.
