RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Thanks to these high-technology tools better products are created with an eye to the safety and comfort of the users. CAD development (Computer Aided Design) makes it for instance possible to simulate helmet deformation during virtual impacts.

Besides, those deformations are more thoroughly tested than required by current certification standards. For optimal comfort, the interior helmet volumes are also virtually developed before manufacturing in order to obtain perfect facial morphology adaptation for each model in any size.

This software also allows to optimize the functioning of mobile parts, such as vents, chin strap buckles or visor fasteners, and to obtain better ergonomics in general providing greater user comfort.

The R&D department works in partnership with universities, research centres, and design and engineering agencies worldwide (KUL, Phillips Helmets LTD, ISIP, etc.)
