Vladimir Karpets of the Katusha Team, who finished yesterday in the queen stage third, took 2nd podium place in final overall classification of "Tour de Romandie" behind Kreuziger with a gap of 18’’. For Karpets its the first GC podium of the season. Today, Oscar Freire from "Rabobank", won the last stage in Geneve. Thanks to second place of Karpets, Team Katusha jumps on second place of the UCI world Ranking behind Quick-Step. It’s important signal for the team that close the first part of the season with 14 victories, 21 second places and 4 third ones.
